Fauquier Values is owned and operated by Yvonne and Jerry Herbst.

We developed the Fauquier Values Card as a way to help local citizens, businesses and nonprofit community service organizations forge positive connections for the benefit of all.  

When we patronize local business, we strengthen our local community in many ways -- by keeping revenues and tax dollars circulating locally, and by supporting the people and organizations that work hard to make the Fauquier area a beautiful, thriving, congenial place to live.

We have lived in the Fauquier area since 1996.  We moved here from the Fair Oaks area of Fairfax because we love the natural beauty of the surrounding farmland and Blue Ridge mountains.  And, we wanted to raise our young children in a place that is friendly, community-minded, healthy and relaxed.

Yvonne owned and managed the New Life Yoga Center in the Oak Springs Plaza (where H&R Block now resides) in Warrenton, Virginia from 2000 – 2006.   She continues to teach yoga through Fauquier Hospital’s LIFE Center.  

Jerry has had his own consulting practice since 1990, providing GSA Schedule Contract services to companies that sell to the Federal Government.
